Students may buy Final Fling tickets at the door tonight. The dance opens to students at 7:30 and is scheduled to end at 10.

JFK Library Honors Teen LIGHT Students for Making a Difference!

The JFK Library presented two MSMS 8th graders with John F. Kennedy Make a Difference Awards.  Jolene R.and Sean G. received the Make a Difference Awards for their exemplary volunteer and service work with Teen LIGHT, the 8th grade community service program.  Jolene and Sean are student leaders for Teen LIGHT.  Teen LIGHT raised approximately $10,000 this year to help teens struggling with depression and anxiety.  Jolene and Sean attended the awards ceremony at the JFK Library in Boston along with other 8th graders from across the state who are involved with community service.  As the JFK Library stated, President Kennedy believed that all of us can make a difference and that each one of should try.  Congratulations to Jolene and Sean for making a difference!
